About Me:
ok, bear with me, i'll try to be as brief as possible...

after high school i attended UAB and studied electrical engineering. I almost made it through with only one year to go, but fell through the cracks and had to drop out due to financial reasons. I always planned on going back, but life happens, and that dream just kinda went away.

Shortly after that, i moved to Daytona Beach for a while, where i lived right across from the beach. Wow, was that a view. Let's just say things didnt work out there either so i moved back home to family and friends. From there, i got a job at a fishing lure company where i made worms. For those of you who think your job is bad....I MADE WORMS!!

It was during this time that my good friend Chris Grace (c/o 89) and i were working most every club in bham as dj's. Eventually we got a gig at Bellbottoms (now Uranus) and that's where i met my husband and fellow gopher, john david crowe (c/o 89). We bought a house in hueytown (behind the chinese buffet place) and eventually married in Vegas in 2002. We havent been blessed with children yet, but are still trying. Anybody got any extra they're willing to lend out?? haha. Since we dont have any children, we have 3 cute kitty cats and one sweet loving dog whom we spoil rotten. Pictures of them will soon be available.

Currently i'm working at Regions Bank as a Trust Securities Coordinator. Thats just a fancy way of saying that i work with stocks and bonds. I've been there for 9 years now and am hoping to get back into school one day so that i can move up further in the company.

Shortly after i started at Regions in 2000, i became really sick and didnt know why. I lost like 70 pounds in 3 months, was constantly thirsty and very weak. After 3 different doctors, i finally found one who recognized my symptoms. It turns out, i had type 1 diabetes (insulin dependent). I'm currently using an Omni-Pod insulin pump and trying to manage it. Some days are worse than others, but i'm doing better all the time.

Ok, i've FINALLY got some pictures of me on here. Give me more time to get more.

Whew....that took longer than i thought. Anyway, if i left out anything you can find that on my myspace page. I'm looking forward to hearing from you all.

Hiya. Of course, when I thought that the system hadn't added my comment, I tried to leave you another.... Now they are both here. And when I tried to send you a message, the first acted as if it hadn't sent, so you probably got the first one, then another where my computer wigged and sent in the middle of my typing... SIGH. Nothing has changed, Kim. I'm still a goofball.

Oh, I certainly remember the "Daddy's Sorry!" :o) Saw on your Myspace page that you like another comedian as well. Mr. "Escalator temporarily stairs... Sorry for the convenience." Mitch is too funny.

Hey Kim! It is so nice to see you on here! I've tried to find you a thousand times on the net! I'm so glad you're doing well and that you met Mr. Right. Love your music, by the way. Awesome. You always did have great taste.

Hey Kim, Thanks for the friend request. You wanna borrow my 2 kids? The only condition is that if you have to take both at the same time. haha. I love them more than anything, and have learned more from them than I ever did from nephews and cousins kids, etc... As for those good old high school days, honestly, I have mostly good memories of HHS, but wouldn't want to go back 'cause I wouldn't have my family. Also, I do remember you from high school, but not really well. As I read about your diabetes, it reminds me of a close friend of mine who had similar symptoms, weight loss, thirsty, etc. He controls it well with lifestyle and diet changes, insulin...Hope all is well with you and John David, Let him know I have a brother, Darren who graduated with him. I think they knew each other back then(?) He has a page on here, too.
Well, enough for now, keep in touch.

Hey, sweetie! This is a heck of a way to keep in touch with family, isn't it? (Actually it's a GREAT way) It's great to hear from your sweet mama, too. I love the pictures of your kitty cats. I lost mine just before Christmas and I sure miss him.
