- About Me:
- Carol Turner (class of '69) and I are still married. We celebrated our 39th anniversary this October 30th.
We have two sons, oldest (Kevan - in sales), and married to Shelley Allen from Hoover (Berry/Montavallo U. Basketball player), now a nurse at UAB. One grand-daughter, Finley Noel, She is four years old.
Our youngest son (Kyle) married in January of 2008. He married Ginger Nelson, also from Hoover. They are proud parents of our second grandchild (a boy named Jacob Riley) born March of this year. Kyle installs video, audio, home theatre systems.
I spent the past 36 years in the food sales/marketing business and at this time I am trying what direction to take next in life. Carol is still in the medical field after over 30 years at Lloyd Noland Hospital. She currently does doctor credentialing for a medical billing company in Vestavia.
She helped take care of her 93 year old mother for several years. She passed away in January of this year.
We attend Mountaintop Community Church in Vestavia.The grandchildren (sons & daughter-in-laws) are the center of our life. God has truly Blessed us!
We still enjoy seeing, "running into" and talking with all of our friends from Hueytown!

Thanks so much for taking all the pics for the reunion. Can't wait to see them - if I can find them on Facebook. Having a litlle, no that's not true, A LOT OF PROBLEMS trying to navigate in the HHS site in Facebook. .

- Finley is precious and has grown so much since I saw her (sitting in her "little baby" car seat that Sunday a few years ago. Is Jacob her brother?
St. George Island Randall and my favorite vacation spot. Do you go down there too? I saw the last pic of Appalachicola (sp?).

Gary White said… - It was good to hear from you and I really was looking forward to seeing "old" classmates at the reunion this year but I will be in New Jersey due to a prior commitment. I hope people will continue to use this site and hopefully we can stay in touch and even make arrangements to meet sometime.
