Wow, I haven't been out here in forever. I got engaged on my birthday, 12/30/2008. Our wedding is going to take place in Destin, Fl on 09/26/2009. My dear, sweet brother will give me away. I wouldn't have it any other way (unless my papa was still alive) I cannot wait to marry Tommy. He is truly my soulmate if there ever was one. I know. I know...probably making everyone puke. Anyway, Bridezilla, formerly known as Trisha has emerged! So much to plan and direct and coordinate and details details details...whew! We've still got about 4 months to go so hopefully it will all be squared away by then. Wish me luck on keeping my scruples together!

Guess what!?!?!?!?!? Soon, my first ever baby niece will have a baby of her own. I'm soooo excited. I'm going to be a GREAT aunt...well, I think I'm already a great aunt...but I'm going to be a better one now that the babies are having babies. The due date was dec17th, (darnit...she could have waited until my birthday) but now has been moved to dec 3rd. I can't wait to meet her!!! There's nothing like a new baby in the family. I'll post pics as soon as the little bundle of joy gets here...but probably on myspace. The website is listed below.

Baby Makana came quicker than we thought. She was born on 11/25/2008 and is the prettiest little thing you've ever seen. She has skin like alabaster and a constant, fresh, pink blush on her puffy cheeks. She looks just like a doll and is as sweet. I love her so much and am proud of Kristin for becoming a great mommy. I can remember when kris was born premature...I was still in highschool. She was so tiny. Now I really feel old!

Updating my "about me" because stuff happens...life changes...etc. I've been working at BCBS of AL going on 19 years. I recently graduated from Samford University on May 17th, 2008. One of the best days of my life!! Outside of school and work, I have a large group of casual friends, and a handful of best friends. I'm currently living with my sweetheart, Tommy. He's just wonderful. He was born in Michigan, but mostly grew up in Naples, Fl, then lived in Fairhope, AL for the past 8 years or so. Fairhope is beautiful and we go visit all the time. I would love to live in one of those big cottages by the bay one day. Other than that, I have no kids, but I do have 10 gorgeous and amazingly intelligent nieces and nephews. :) 5 girls and 5 boys. Most of ya'll know their parents since my brother and sisters went to HHS as well. I'll be posting pics of them soon. The oldest is about to turn 20 and the youngest is 3. Whew, that makes me feel old! My mom and granny are still in Hueytown at the old home place. Some things never change.
