About Me:
It's great to have this website to see and hear about old friends. My 16 yr old son Paul and I live in Virginia Mines. My daughter Nicki is 22 and Jesse is 26 (sometimes they still live here, too!). I have two sweet lapdogs, and have been single for the last 13 years. I work at U.S.Steel and attend church at Crossroads. I love music, art, writing and reading. I would love to hear from y'all.

Hey Tina,

How about either calling me at 744-0059 or emailing at joeandlou@hotmail.com with your phone number. I would like to visit with you and haven't been able to find your number. Hope to hear from you soon one way or the other.

I did not answer you because I was in the hospital at the time. I had another knee replacement. I went to the funeral home when Tina Glaze's dad died. I was on two canes then, just waiting for the surgery. I had to wait a year after my heart surgery to have the knee done and of course had to have so many test run before Dr. Snow would do it. I 'm ok now. Hope you are ok. Mark lives on Kerry drive but will be moving to Rock Creek Road when his house is finished . Of course he will need to sell the house he is in now. It was good to hear from you.

Hi Tina - I blogged a little about Dad's parties when I first got going on the site... he did have some great ones. When they first split, I lived with mom for a year or so. I was there for some of the later ones, but the really serious partying mostly took place while I was still living with mom. Back then, he and his merry gang, (remember Doobie Raney by any chance?) used to go back and forth partying at each of their places from weekend to weekend. Made it a little more difficult for the cops to shut them down. LOL

It was a different kind of kid-hood, to be sure. Once he started driving the van and discovered truck-in's, then of course a lot of the partying went on the road - and I often went to those. That was a blast. At least growing up around so much partying - I had an idea how to do it properly. I always felt sorry for those kids that were super-sheltered all through their young lives and then went to college, discovered partying and overdid everything to extremes. I overdid it plenty, to be sure - but Dad preached moderation, and it sunk in fairly well.

Of course I shared his tendency for depression, (which we both only started to understand much later) so moderation and self-sufficiency were doubly valuable lessons given how the depressed often go so seriously overboard on alcohol and such.

I made Dad a memorial page - don't know if you've seen it. (just search for David Lee Crocker) I've only uploaded a few pics so far... still have to scan some more in. Unfortunately, it's a bit time-consuming, so I keep putting it off - true to my own nature!

We did have a blast at the Gopher the Gusto party! Normally 3 beers will do me just fine cause I'm not a regular drinker. I had at least twice that! Doh! I was waaay off into the silly zone! LOL So I've satisfied my drinkin' urge for a while. ha ha ha... Take it easy..... I should be in bed now, so I'm gonna get there!
