I have been married to David Platt from Mobile for 18 years. We both graduated from Alabama in 1990.We have 2 girls ages 12 and 14. I own a small business. "Birmingham Seniors Resource Guide" .It is a resource directory for Senior Citizens. I am on the Red Mountain Theatre Board of Directors. I have served as President of the Alzheimer's Board of Directors for 6 years. We are members at Mountain Brook Baptist .My girls are into musical theatre and dance. They hate cheerleading. I love to find out what people from highschool are doing now. I am sorry I was so bad about keeping up with friends.
I knew that had to be sherri she was describing. Her name is Katie Shropshire. You will have to ask Sherri about her. It is so good to here from you. Sometimes I wish I had moved away. I think I would love to live in Mobile. Daphne especiallly. What part do you live in. Yes, my boys go to Hueytown. My oldest, Logan is 15 he will be 16 in July. Him driving makes me nervous. He is very ambitious. He is in 10th grade and is 18 out of 300 in in class. My 13 year old will be 14 in April. He is in 8th grade at HMS (Pittman) where I teach. He is on the Football team and the Baseball team. He is very athletic. Collin, my 10 year old, 11 in April is at Hueytown elementary. He will be at Pittman next year. He is hilarious. I think he will be a comedian. He is crazy. Then I thought we were finished with our kids. You know 3 boys in a 4 1/2 year time span was plenty , but obviously I didn't have a choice. Here comes little sis Raegan. She is 4 will be 5 in May and she is the biggest blessing to our family. The boys are crazy about her and very protective. She will start school next year. Im not sure where she will go. I don't really want her to go to Hueytown. They keep me busy but Iove it. Hopefully I can quit work in 3 more years. That will give me 20 years and then after that I will do my "thirty-one" stuff. I love it. It sounds like you have your hands full and stay busy with your jobs. It sounds very interesting what you do. How did you get involved with that? You know, alot of times i think about our K-mart days. Especially now that my son is going to be 16 and talking about getting a job. You know, that was really fun. And you remember we use to ride together. You know that little cut through rode that joined 15th to Virginia Mines that I use to take to your house. that is the rode that I live on. Is your mom still living in Hueytown? You will have to keep in touch. It is good to here from you.
Hey Terri! How are things going? Sounds like Great! i haven't been on this thing forever and I just thought I would look again real quick and I found your page. Beautiful girls in all of these photos!! I have a great friend I work with from Mobile and she was talking the other day (good things) about someone her sister taught with and it sounded like Sherri from what she was saying but she couldn't remember her name. does Sherri teach?
