Star Trek Boldly Goes.
Star Trek one of the feature films I have been waiting to see this summer. I got to see tonight. I will admit that i am a Trek fan. No, I do not wear one of cheesy outfits and have never attended a trek convention. But enjoy the series just the same. I first experienced the franchise as a small boy watching (70's) it with my dad who enjoyed watching the TV series. Wicked BJCC
Went to see the Broadway play "Wicked" last night. Outstanding. Well worth the price of the tickets. The play brings a totally different story line to the land of OZ that makes you truly think about what went on in the early life of the Wicked Witch of the West. The writers did a great job on mixing music, comedy, suspense, and loves gained and lost. It is nice to have this type of entertainment come to Birmingham. 101 Dalmations comes to Birmingham in January 2010. We will be there for that.

Standing in Right Field 3/30/2009
To many people the right fielder is the position that you place your weakest ball player in hopes that they can hide the player while on the field. However the right fielder is one of the most important positions on the field because of the requirement to catch baseballs that have special spins that require great skill in catching.

Cirque du Soleil Kooza
Pam and I just got back from a weekend in Atlanta where we attended the Cirque du Soleil show Kooza. Probably one of the best Cirque shows we have seen. Amazing athletic skills by the entertainers and outstanding clown work. This is a must see show if you get a chance.
Cique will be bringing it's show SALTIMBANCO to Huntsville in April of 09!! We are going to be there.

Arizona Cardinals
Today the Arizona Cardinals won the NFC Championship which marks the first time they will appear in the Super Bowl since the the Chicago Cardinals won the World Bowl in 1947. At that time Hueytown's own John Red Cochran played defense and special teams.
