- I've been married 5 times. I spent many years looking for "true love," going from relationship to relationship thinking I had found it, only to find out in the end that I hadnt! I swore that I would NEVER say "I do" again....BUT on April 14, 2005 I met the one that finally made me complete! Jon & I have been married now for three years and for the first time in my life I know what TRUE love really is. Love is an easy word to say, but a hard one to mean. We have five children between us (Four mine and one his). Two girls(Staci-22 and Laura-21) and three boys(Logan-17, Blake-15 & Chandler-9)...and one grandbaby...Madeline who just turned 17 months old on the 6th. Being a Nana is one of the most awesome experiences I've had in my life. She's such a blessing in my life and I stand in AWE of her each day.
I work for a small law firm in Homewood as a paralegal. I've been there for five years now. Before that I worked for an attorney in Bessemer for five years. Guess I found my "calling" in the legal field.
I lead a pretty calm life...but that's just the way I like it--DRAMA FREE!! God, church, my family and my animals are my life! Without each of them I would not be the person that I am today. I've gone through many struggles through the years, but those struggles have molded and shaped me into the person that I am today and God working in me is continuing to make me the person that HE wants me to be. I'm learning to be content in whatever situation comes my way because I know that God is in control and He has NEVER failed me yet! I'm very laid back...not "materialistic"...I'm who I am and hope that those that know me and consider me a friend will accept me just the way I am.
I'm a huge animal lover! And a "sucker" for strays!! My hubby kids me and calls me the "crazy cat lady." I have 5 cats-Simba,Mary Jane,Allie, Chloe & Boots(four of the five were strays), a snake-Cyrus, who is a red tail boa (Of course the snake is the guys' pet...I dont mind it, just wont hold it now that its gotten so BIG. My three turtles(Myrtle the turtle, Milo & Speedy) a fish tank and our newest addition is a Blue Heeler that my boys named Ima, which is pronounced Ema--girl version of Emanuel. She loves to snuggle and she's a total cutie pie!
I try (though sometimes miserably fail) to live my life according to God's Word and his plan for my life and I treat people like I would like to be treated. I'm not fake...I dont try to be something or someone that I'm not. I love flowers...and music...hummingbirds...butterflies...blue bell homemade vanilla ice cream rocks! My fav color is pink...my age doesnt bother me...it's just a number...I have lots of gray hairs and I've earned everyone of them...haha.
God has blessed me with WAY more than I could ever be worthy of and I'm so thankful for His Mercy & Grace! To God be the Glory!

terminal illness and had been given three months
to live. So as she was getting her things 'in
order,' she contacted her Pastor and had him
come to her house to discuss certain aspects of
her final wishes.
She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what
scriptures she would like read, and what outfit
she wanted to be buried in.
Everything was in order and the Pastor was preparing to

JUSTIFIED THROUGH FAITH...
VERSE:
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

I know you don't know me but you lived across the street from me on 19th St. I am Cindy Hosmers mother & Leanne Sullivan's mother-in-law.
One of my cats is missing and I was wondering if maybe he moved with you by mistake. He is black and white and his name is Elvis. Please let me know if you have seen him. Sorry I didn't get to know you while you lived across from. Also my husband was wandering if your boys might like to help him with some yard work this summer. Thanks, Carol
