- About Me:
- I graduated in 1989. I went to UAB and earned my Bachelor's in Psychology. I went on to earn a Master's in Special Education. This is my 15th year as a special education teacher, the last 8 at Pleasant Grove Elementary.
I was divorced 3 years ago. I have 3 children...Jared 21...Rachel 15...Nicholas . Jared served three years in the 82nd Airborne. He is now married to Valerie and my only grandbaby will be turning one in September. Her name is Summer Jade. They live in North Carolina. Rachel is now a sophomore at Hueytown High School, and Nicholas is in 1st grade at Hueytown Elementary.
I'm dating Steve Miles...he's such a wonderful person! I'm thankful to have such a wonderful family around me!

Pot Luck Family Picnic
Tannehill State Park 10:00 A.M. til 12:00 Noon
Please bring your own food, drinks, and lounge chairs. We have reserved two covered pavilions for everyone’s convenience.
Admission to Tannehill State Park
$3.00 Adults $1.00 Children 6 and under free
Cocktail Mixer
Woodward Golf and Country Club, Bessemer, Alabama
7:00 P.M. until 11:00 P.M.
Semi Formal to Dressy Casual Attire
Heavy hors d’oeuvres and Cash Bar Provided
Prepaid Tickets May be Purchased $30.00 per person

Tickets only need to be purchased for Adults.
Children are only invited to the Family Picnic.
You may purchase tickets at the door the evening of the event,
Cost will be $35.00 per person.
* If you are only attending the Picnic you will pay the entrance fee to the park, then a $7 donation per family will be requested to cover the Pavilion. If you are attending both events a donation will not be request.

It has been a long time, it's great to hear from you. I am doing well. Just enjoying my family and trying to stay sane in a house full of girls. Thanks for the compliment, I think they are beautiful as well but I am biased. Congratulations on the upcoming grandchild. I am sur e you are excited. September is just around the corner. You will have to post some pictures. I added you to my friends so I will be able to keep up. Stay in touch.

I'm not sure about the 16th yet. I'll talk to Tova about it this week. I guess your idea about the picture with Tova worked because this site is still up and running!!! LOL Really though, it's a very nice pic! : )
