When I was in school at McNeil I loved school. When I was bussed to Hueytown....well it wasn't McNeil.

EXPLANATION: I've been away a while and just got caught up on my McNeil folks. Thus the reason for the prior comment being out of sequence.

I lived in Va Mines during the Sixties. I still have family there. When did everyone else live there? Where? I lived on what's called today Coke Oven Road but it looked MUCH better--CLEANER--when I lived there.

Linda, You were definitely talking about Ms Gula Gilmore. I had her for Homeroom in 7th grade! I'm not the only one who had her. I'm 50 but my Uncle is 70---and he remembers having her as a teacher---her and her twin sister.
