We have a pot luck lunch every year on the Saturday AFTER Father's Day. Right now it is done in the lunchroom at HHS at 11:00am. Bring a dish, your other half, if you have one, and come on!! Very informal.
I am from the Class of 64! Eddie and I celebrated 40 years in February 2009. We have one son, Jacob. Jacob is 27. He was in the HHS Class of 2000. He graduated from THE University of Alabama in 2004. Jacob works for WJOX radio station in Birmingham. He is the producer of the "Opening Drive" with Jay Barker, Al Del Greco and Tony Kurre. Also, Assistant Program Director. He hosts various shows during the year. He also worked with the Birmingham Barons doing the PA system at the park and some of the camera work. Eddie has two other sons and 3 grandsons. I am not a grandmother, but do sleep with a grandfather!! His boys are Ed and Mike. Ed is a dentist in Cape Coral, FL and Mike works for the USPS here in Birmingham. He is Senior Management of Post Office Operations! We are very proud of all of our boys..

Hey Penny,
Could you put on our classmates emails about the groundbreaking on October 7 at 1:30. Hope things are well with you. Things at HHS are great this year. Love you
Hi Penny, Whitney is selling boston butts again to raise money to pay soccer fees ($500). They are $30 and she must turn in tickets Sept.6th. They will be delivered Sept. 16th. She will be selling hams in December. Don't buy one just to be nice. If you would like either one let me know.
Penny, we got into so much stuff, it is a miracle we survived!!!! I am like you I live on the straight and narrow now. I have to take care of my sickly husband. He just had surgery on his cervical spine and his probably going to have surgery on his nose for deviated septum. I am glad I am not falling apart like he is! He is older than I am!!!!
Thanks for everything you do to bring everyone together from the different classes. I always look forward to seeing classmates that I do not see on a regular basis. Thanks again.
Penny,I would like to thank you and the class of 64 for inviting us to the party,it was wonderful.I had not been back in over 40 years it brought back a lot of memories. You and the class of 64 have given all of us one of the greatest gifts one can give:to meet and greet old friends and relive fond memories of our youth. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
