About Me:

I graduated in 1980, got married in 1981 and was married for 21 years. I have two beautiful grown up children that I am very proud of. My son, Adam (26) served in the Navy for five years including a 15 month deployment in Iraq. Thankfully he made it home safe and now lives in Calera. My daughter Emily (20) works for Virginia College and is quickly moving up the ladder with them. I worked at Vulcan Materials for 18 years in Facilities Management, Space Planning and Interior Design. I left there to pursue my dream of owning my own business and bought a florist in Pleasant Grove. I owned it for seven years and sold it after my divorce in 2002. I finally got out of what I fondly call the "WAC" (western area cutoff) and moved to 280 with my daughter. I LOVE IT on this side of town!! Life is so much simpler without all the small town gossip and drama. I will always treasure my memories of Hueytown, but frankly...don't miss it that much. Just want to say Thanks to Eddie for creating this site. I have talked to friends I haven't seen in years and it's been alot of fun catching up.

At 6:48am on September 2, 2009, David T Lee said…: hey Natalie, how are you? i hope you and your family are doing fine, yes i was with the Blue Angels in 1994 to 1998 then i retired out the navy in sept. 2000 after serving on the USS Harry S Truman CVN-75. so now i work out here at the naval air station Pensacola as a electronics tech, and i also work with the Blue Angles during the homecoming air show working as a sound tech in the ground electronics sound booth, the next airshow is in november 13&14 www.naspairshow.com so come on out if you thought the beach show was nice this one will be totally awsome! take care and have a blessed day!

I love to saltwater fish - I pull my boat down to Orange Beach or Apalachicola every chance I get. I would like to thank your son for his service to our country. I really admire our servicemen - those guys are all heroes to me. I know Fallujah was one of the worst battles of the war and an absolute hell-hole of a place to be. As a medic I can't imagine what he saw at such a young age. I'm really glad he returned home safe to you. Please tell him we are very proud of him. Keep up the good tan and keep in touch. I would love to see you and Dodie and Becki and Tricia and so many others. I may try to make the meeting on July 21, but I leave the next day for a meeting in Destin, so I not sure about it. I'm married to the same guy, a crazy New Yorker named Frank. We've been married for 18 years and we have one son, Vincent who is 15 and will start 10th grade at the JCIB High School at Shades Valley in August. He plays tenor sax in the marching band and we are so proud of him. Your children are beautiful and I know you are proud. Tell your son I said "thanks" for his service to our country.
