Oh, for another true steak sandwich with onion rings & hot fudge cake! And for all the times we got run off for driving through there - if I had a 5 cents, I'd be a wealthy woman!
James, was Bobby Marcum from Central Park?
Everyone was afraid of her! I can remember having her one time for study hall. She kept a tight lid on us! But I always got a smile from her simply by smiling at her first. She wasn't as mean as old "Bulldog" Wallace at Pittman! But I can honestly t…
I too had Mrs. Cook and I liked her a lot. She was a wonderful teacher and I am so glad she recognized in you, Becky, what she did. There is something to listening to those who saw us every day and learning all we could from them. And to have a teac…
You guys are really bringing back memories! Lowell and I were in the group that was the original Saddle Tramps in Hueytown. We rode a lot off of Rock Creek Road and towards Pleasant Grove and started the arena for the horse shows on Crest. I lived o…

Hey Marsha,
What a nice surprise to hear from you. It's been too long and I'm glad you joined in. It sounds like you have a great family. Aren't grandkids a trip? I hope to see you all but this site helps fill in the gaps after all these years. Betty
Carol & I have been in Alabaster since Jan. 2005. Main reason our son lives in Sterling Gate as well along with our two granddaughters. Good to hear from you. Check the the get together at HHS on June 27th. Classes 64, 65 & 66 are having a little gatherin'.
I sure do remember you! Glad to hear from you. If you have looked at the pics I have uploaded, you can probably tell that we have a 'crew' also. My first wife (Gwen Kiker) and I have three children and 6 grand kids with another on the way. My current wife and I do not have any children but we do have a miniature schanuzer. She is a handful at 5 1/2 years of age and the breed is referred to as a 'perpetual 2 year old'. Get some pics uploaded, later, David
Hey Marsha. Glad you found the site. It's been fun to catch up with "old" friends. I was sorry to see that you lost your husband. Looks like you have lots to keep you busy, though.
