- Yeah we lived down Bess/Johns Rd past West Highland (still do) and had to ride bus to McNeil. I thought it was the greatest thing to be able to walk from school to Darlene's house. Only other friend I got to do that with was Deborah Hamilton. But Eloise and Sam took me places with their family sometimes. I had relatives that lived way back in Tuscaloosa Co. that heard our names on radio when they took us to the radio station on Bessemer Super Highway. They just couldn't get over my name on radio since they did not have a TV. Tell her hello
and Sherry Kniphfer lives in TX also.

Donny Summers said… - So glad to hear form you. Hope you are doing well out in Texas. You are a long way from where we grew up. Do you ever go back home? There is little need for me to travel back there. It seems like a time warp. All of my family is gone except for a bother, and a few others.
