Best: Friends like you never make in any other time in your life!
Worst: The shooting that happened in the fall of my Junior year that claimed the life of a really sweet classmate. I can still remember that day like it was yesterday.
After graduating in 1982, I got married in 1983 (too young). Although I married very young, I was 30 when my first child Jackson was born and at 33, I had twins, Abby and Austin. I know life must have been pretty boring before I had children.
I quit work in 1994 to be a full time mom and loved that job more than any other that I have ever had. At times, I could have pulled my hair out, but I wouldn't have traded that craziness for being at work and missing out on all that fun!! I was out of the working world for 8 years.
Then in 2004, I divorced after 20 years of marriage. At the time, I thought that it was the absolute worst thing that had ever happened to me. Although the marriage was very dysfunctional, I did not want to admit to failure, but God had a way of making me realize that sometimes His plans are not our plans and His ways are not our ways.
Anyway, Jesus gave me "beauty for ashes" when in 2006, I met my current husband, Mike, a 1984 Minor graduate. He is a true Christian man and we are like teenagers in love still after almost three years of marriage.
I want my life to be a testimony of God's incredible grace and mercy.
Hey Leslie, hope you have a WONDERFUL DAY and a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! FYI, been trying on Facebook to leave you a note there and every time I hit send, it disappears and another of my notes appears on your page instead. It's real weird and maybe I have too much rain water in my computer cords or something else crazy like is going on. I can't figure it out but hopefully it'll correct itself soon.
hello Leslie, and how is our senior class secretary and prettiest cheerleader ever? I really gotta commend you, for all that you have been through - take care of yourself and God will take you even further!

Hey Leslie, It was so good to see you over the summer at the ballpark.
You and your mom are as beautiful as ever. I am glad that Dalton
and Austin had a chance to meet and play ball with each other. What a
wonderful testimony you have shared with us, and you have truly been
blessed by the hand of God.
Love, Tammy
