Hi everyone - what a trip down memory lane looking over your bios. It is great to see what you all have been up to.
I graduated in '88 and after a short stay at UAB graduated with my B.S. from Auburn University (that is 6 in a row for my Bama grad friends - don't worry, I know it won't last forever).
Married in 1994 to Eric (we met at AU) and moved to outside of Washington D.C. There I worked for a environmental enginnering company. In 1996, we moved to Columbus, GA and I eventually went back to AU for my masters and Ph.D. in Horticulture. Since then I have taught horticulture part time at AU and had my own landscape design/consulting business.
We have three children, Annie (5), Eli (almost 3), and Liddy (17 months).
In 2007, we moved to the north Dallas suburbs for a job opportunity for Eric. For the time being my job title is "chief child wrangler" which keeps me on the go and busy.
I would love to hear from you! Drop me a line......
Hey Laura! I was reminded the other day about our only dirt bike experience together. Remember when you flipped your new 4 wheeler down that big hill on the gas line? I had forgotten all about that until my mom brought it up at fathers day. I can remember wondering how in the world are we gonna get out of there! Anyway, looks like you are doing well now and I hope you haven't flipped any more ATV's.
I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather. I know he'd suffered a long time. I talked with your mom months ago about a hiring a nurse for him. I'll be praying for you and your family. Love, Jhan
hello Laura..I tried to find you a few years ago..you look awesome!! How do you like Dallas? Hope all is well..how is your MOM??
Write me when you can.

Hey Girl, Glad to hear you are well and in the big state of Texas. My wife is originally from there and we visit as often as we can-she has relatives all over the state-Katy/Houston, Dallas, Ft. Worth, San Antonio, etc. Once you get used to it you will Love that State-I hate to leave every time we visit, well except for maybe the traffic=but hey a wife and three kids lets you use the HOV lanes so it is not too bad. when you can drop me a line/text message.
hey laura. i was wondering if you were still twirling. There dont seem to be as many majorettes in the bands as when we were in school. Do you think it is some kind of communist plot to take over the world and they are starting out by getting rid of all the majorettes? Probably not, but just to be safe, you might ought to watch your back. We need you around
LAURA!!!!! Hey, it's Amanda Parsons....I have been dying to talk to you. We went to an Auburn game a couple of years ago, when they had the Alumni on the field. I knew you from far away....no mistaking the way you twirl! I raced over so you could meet my daughter, Gabriela, but they said you had just left..:(
Hey Laura, Do you still play the Sax? I still play the trumpet every week at church. I see your dad a lot. He does all the metal work for my dad. Anyway, good to see you are doing good. See ya
