Two Little Boys

[]

~ Two Little Boys ~

After a hardy rainstorm filled all the potholes in the streets and alleys,
a young mother watched her two little boys playing in the puddle through her
kitchen window.

The older of the two, a five year old lad, grabbed his sibling by the back of his
head and shoved his face into the water hole.

As the boy recovered and stood laughing and dripping, the mother runs to the
yard in a panic.

' Why on earth did you do that to your little brother?!' she asks as she sho… Continue

One Wish Granted

A man was riding his Harley along a California beach when suddenly the sky clouded above his head and, in a booming voice, the Lord said, 'Because you have tried to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one wish.

The biker pulled over and said, 'Build a bridge to Hawaii so I can ride over any time I want.'

The Lord said, 'Your request is materialistic, think of the enormous challenges for that kind of undertaking; the supports required reaching the bottom of the Pacific and the concr… Continue

Pecans in the Cemetary

PECANS IN THE CEMETERY

On the outskirts of a small town, there was a
big, old pecan tree just inside the cemetery
fence.

One day, two boys filled up a bucketful
of nuts and sat down by the tree, out of sight,
and began dividing the nuts

'One for you, one for me.

One for you, one for
me,' said one boy.

Several dropped and rolled
down toward the fence.

Another boy came riding along the road on his
bicycle.

As he passed, he thought he heard
voices from inside the cemete… Continue

The Wooden Bowl

A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and four-year - old grandson.
The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered.

The family ate together at the table. But the elderly grandfather's shaky hands and
failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor.
When he grasped the glass, milk spilled on the tablecloth.

The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the mess.
'We must do something about father,' said the s… Continue

Hey Girl - thought i would take a minute to see what you have been up to. Sorry we didint get a chance to get together when i was down in January. The time went by so fast and i spent a whole day in court on child support issues. Funny how i should have to come to Alabama to do this, when all the other paperwork was done in NC. Who knows? So what have you been up to lately? Me ?? well, just trying to keep my head above ground. My honey is getting ready to go to the desert for 4 months and i am taking on his 3 girls - O what joy ! really its not that bad, Brandon is getting ready to graduate college and Brooke - well she is still trying to decide what she wants to go while going to school. I don't know when i will be coming back home as my summer will be busy with 3 extra kids, but i do hope to try to get down next month for a few days. Thats about it for me, catch me up on whats new with you and how are things going. Take Care -

Ahh, the one that got away or should I say ran away because of all the torment Keith and I rained upon you. Sorry I haven't replied earlier, been comfirming that I was nuts (something you said many times). I am so pleased to hear and read about your relationship with Christ. He is a very special guy, i know what he has done for me over the years. I live in Pleasant Grove with my wife of 17yrs the former Lee Myong Sun (the family calls her Peggy, its alot easier to say) and my 3 girls Tabitha 15, Jacqueline (Jacki) 12, and Kimberly 9. I think I was cursed for all the torment on you (could it be fate that she is named Kimberly, hmmm). I gotta run, Peg is quite impatient, and she wants to go somewhere. I'll drop ya a line again soon. Cya big sister, i'll always keep you in my prayers and in my heart.
