I'm married to Joshua Phillips (c/o 1996). I graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Roll Tide! Josh is in the Navy. I am a stay-at-home Mommy. We have two little girls. Audrey is five years old. Arabelle is two years old.
We live in Honolulu, Hawaii. We're enjoying Ohau. We love the beach and go often. (We've also lived in California, Florida and Illinois.
I love this website. It's wonderful to catch up with old friends!
Yeah, its definitely a secret. They don't even tell me what time the meetings start. I was an hour late Saturday because nobody told me they changed the time. Anyway, my job was to get Curtis' address. I got it and now I'm off the committee. I've got better things to do at 9am on a Saturday morning...like sleep.

Do I enjoy practicing law? Sometimes. When I first got out of law school, I was a prosecutor for the State of Alabama. That was a fun job. I did that for a few years and like an idiot, I left to make more money. Now, realizing that is what I believe God wants me to do, I am trying to go back. I have interviewed several times for an Asst. US Atty job and made it to the final round twice. Maybe with the change in the administration I will get in, I am not a democrat nor have I ever declared myself a republican either. However, I lean more to the republican side I guess. But, I would not suggest going to law school. Numerous other jobs out there that are more fulfilling unless you want to prosecute.
Are you planning to move back to Alabama eventually?
Thanks, Julie! You have such a beautiful family! I can't believe how far away you live now! I would love to take some pictures for you when you get back to town. I have a flexible schedule, so I could do them pretty much any day the week of the 22nd if you would like. Just let mw know when and where you would like to do them. Talk to you soon! :)
I am not sure if you remember who I am, but I believe I used to play ball with your brother, Brian. I grew up on Novel Drive and, if you are the same Julie Stanberry, I believe you all lived off of Novel Drive near Hueytown Baptist Church next to the Durettes. If this is the same girl, then I am so happy to see that you are doing well. How is Brian? Didn't you have a little brother, maybe named Eric?
