Kacie: I was glad to see you at HHS when I was subbing. Maybe we'll get to see each other more. Call me sometime at 491-5376. I need to ask a couple of things about certain classes, etc. Love you, Judy
Thanks for your kind words. Yes my divorce was hard and still is hard. After being with someone for that long, it is hard to get to know who you are as an individual again.
But I'm doing good.
Sounds like you are too!
I miss you and YES let's do lunch!
LOVE YOU JUDY!

Judy...this is going to sound crazy, but didn't we know each other? Or was there another Judy Smith that graduated from Hueytown.
Thanks...Rick (Ricky) Harless
Hey Judith....many many thoughts, memories and emotions. Hope you're good. You look great. Thank you for the kind words about my girls. They are my everything. Thanks for reaching out. Take care...aj
Got your note on the group. Thank you for thinking of us. We miss her, still, every day, but it is much more bearable now, and the good memories are finally so much more powerful than those of her last month or so. How are you?
Hey! Nicole looked fabulous last time I saw her. Tell her hello for me.
Brooke is still working at Mercedes and living in Hueytown with her daughter Alex.
My brother got married to a girl named Abigail a few years ago. They live right down the street from me in Hoover.
He works for the same company that I do (Eurest). He runs the kitchen at the Social Secuity building downtown.
I graduated Culinary school in 2002 and am the Executive Chef and manager at the cafe in the Regions Operations Center. Charlie and I divorced last year.
Mom and Dad and my grandparents all moved to Fairhope about seven years ago. Dad still has his appraisal business and Mom has discovered that she is an awesome artist.
They are very happy there.
I hope all is great with you! Good to hear from you!
Hey judy
So good to hear from you. I heard about your daughter. Mom called me when it happened. I am so very sorry for your loss. I know it is very hard still and i will keep you in my prayers. I did see her picture on the in memory of and she looked just like you did growing up. Your other daughter is beautiful also. I remember my grandmother use to get calls all the time asking to speak to nicole. you have a beautiful family and you are as beautiful as ever.
My daughter is a teacher at shelby elementary and lives in calera. she is also going back at night to montevallo getting her masters.
It is really sad looking at all the people we have lost that we graduated with. we should cherish each day the Lord has given us.
again, good to hear from you and keep in touch.
Hey there, Judy. It' always a pleasure to hear from you. There are times when I remember your Dad passing, and how your family clung together, in support for each other. Most people will say that we should "be happy, they're in a better place". That is true, for a believer, but it's the HUMAN in me that causes me to weep for the loss of my Dad. I had quite a few discussion's with your Mom about accepting and letting go, while we were picking the biggest crop of blueberries that Dad ever had. I thought, "Dad's still providing for his kid's, even after he's gone." Even an apple tree that had never bore fruit, had so many apple's that the branch's were breaking. Whether that was the case, or not, God is helping me thru the hardest battle I have ever faced. I still ache with grief.
I read a comment you made, on one of the message board's, that you had read a book titled, Ninety Minutes in Heaven. I have been looking for it, and I will eventually find one. In the meantime, we all do the best we can, with what we have. Love you, Judy
