About Me:

Graduated Class of 1976 HHS; Graduated from UAB 1981; I have worked for the City of Hueytown Police Dept for 15 years. I worked for the Sheriffs Dept prior to going to work for the City of Hueytown. I have been married for 25 years to Pamela Griffin Pilkinton (1981 Graduate from Bessemer Academy), 3 children * . Erica is 18 She is attending Shelton State Junior College, Michelle is 16 a Junior and Tyler 15 is a Sophomore. I am also the School Resource Officer (SRO) at the high school. I love Hueytown and want great things for this city and it's citizens. We had a foreign exchange student live with us 1/2 year last year from Switzerland and we had a young man from Brazil (Leo Fonseca) live with us until June. I also have my furry family. We have lots of dogs, cats and I even have a pet snake. I still do cartoon voices but my woody woodpecker is a little rusty!! ** Please give to JDRF(Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and to the Hueytown Lions Club. My family and I are members of Union Hill Baptist Church in Rock Creek, Al.

Best wishes to your daughter - let her know that I was diagnosed at age 10, and I am now fixing to turn 32 this month with an almost 8 year old (perfectly healthy) daughter and I still have NO complications! Life with diabetes DOES get tuff at times so I thought it would help her to hear that about me. Of course, I give God credit for it ~ but her faith can keep her safe too. Camp Seale Harris changed my life ~ I have VERY fond memories there :~)
