About Me:

I have been married for 23 years to Melinda Cantrell McGough. She graduated from Minor High 1983, is a RN for Henderson Walton in the Infertility Department. We have 3 children, Andrew David (Andy) 21, Matthew Levi 12, and Sara Elizabeth 6. I am a lieutenant with the Forestdale Fire District 22 yrs, the Chief of Minor Heights Fire District 17 yrs, and work for Regional Paramedical Services as a track medic at Talladega Speedway. I served as the Minister to Students for Forestdale Baptist Church 7 yrs. Melinda and I, after attending Forestdale Baptist for eighteen years, stepped out on faith in search of God’s direction for our family. We are visiting with various churches in our area and enjoying fellowship with many friends. I still play the trombone for fun. I still love to cook for those of you who knew me from Jack's Hamburgers. We live in Adamsville Al. Andy finished his Paramedic training and firefighter rookie school this summer. He works for Regional Paramedical Services, part time for Forestdale Fire and for me at Minor Fire. Matthew is a golfer, has wrestled eight years for Sumiton Christian where he will be attending in the fall of 2009. Sara attends Forestdale Baptist School and takes ballet at Westwood Baptist. We have two dogs (Honey a miniature weenie and Scout a Tenn. Walker). We stay busy and on the go 24/7. It's been fun surfing the photos and pages checking y'all out. Drop a note sometime. Most of all enjoy life and all God has blessed us with.
