About Me:
Happily married to Joyce since 1992, two children adopted from China (Myellie 7 and Karlie 5), work at USAA doing VA mortgage loans, bachelors business marketing, former sergeant US Air Force, Desert Storm Vet, Christian, soundman at church, and exercise regularly.
Before marrying Joyce I was big mess. In our marriage we compliment each other really well. Our strengths and weaknesses fit like a glove. Before meeting her and before going to the desert I was married and divorced. My ex-wife and I had two things in common: we liked to drink alcohol and we liked to party. Those two interests are not good for building a long-term relationship. (As of 01/15/2009 I haven't had a drink in 20 years.)
Being deployed to Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm/Desert Shield forced me to take a closer look at myself. I had a lot of time to think, although I did work 12 hours a day, seven days a week for six months.
When I came back from the desert I was still kind of an arrogant jerk. Ask my wife! I'm so glad she hung in there with me. She had been in a bad marriage as well, so we were both carrying a lot of baggage. We met while we were both in the Air Force, and married a year later. People were taking bets at our wedding concerning how long our marriage would last. 17 years later we are still married, and almost all of the bet makers have been married and divorced many times over since we married. I pray they find peace.
God intervened six months into our marriage and we became Christians. We have been serving the Lord every since. Thank you Jesus. May all our friends and family find and serve Jesus Christ, too.

Family Seeks Private Adoption of Infant

Please contact me if anyone knows an unwed woman/girl that is pregnant, and is interested in placing her baby in a loving home. My wife and I have adopted two girls from China, Karlie 4 and Myellie 6, and want to add to our family. Thank you for reading my post.

I'm doing great. Happy in life and in love. I saw on your page that you are adopting again, how is that going? So, how was your 41st birthday???? I really believe that 41 was harder for me than 40. I am not sure why but it is really hard for me to tell people, "Oh, I'm 41". I think that 40 had kind of a ring to it. Oh well I'm just happy to be here. Take care of yourself. By the way, I know that you are living out of state but I think that Greg Butler is trying to get a get together up. I will let you know what the plans are just in case you are in town.

That is awesome!!! They are precious!!! Tom and I were blessed with 4 beautiful healthy children. We have also thought about adopting. Our oldest is almost 18 and youngest is 11. Hopefully it will be awhile before being grandparents!!! You also have a beautiful family!!! It's just amazing how time has flown. Leaving Hueytown in my 9th grade year was very hard!!! We r coming to visit first week in July. I'm so excited to see some of my old friends, I mean younger friends.lol. You take care!!

my mom lives in alabaster now, dad passed away in 1988. John still lives with mom and mike is on his 3rd marriage, he lives in cullman alabama, he has 2 children from his first marriage, john has never married and has no kids. I have one son who is 10, I have been married twice, lost my first wife to cancer ( sons mom ) and second wife did not understand the concept of being faithfull. Came to oklahoma to work for friend, trying to make more money and better life for son. Glad things are going so good for you..

That is terrific, she has not told me about it yet, I am sure she will though, she used to stay on this site until they made it members only to view, she was all the time telling me who she saw, I have not had any meetings planned for the San Antonio branch in the near future, but the next one I have headed that way I am going to look you up.

Thank you for remembering my birthday. We are getting old! I guess we are only as old as we think we are. I have not been able to get on here because of work. I work to much but I love it and feel blessed to have Gods grace to do what I love. Hope your family is well.
