About Me:
I have been happily married to Jim Alexander from Glencoe, AL for the past 15 years. Together we have 5 grown daughters, his 3 and my 2. They have given us 9 grandchildren, 3 girls and 6 boys. We also have one pet, Ozzie, the Shih Tzu. He is ten now, but still as comical as ever! My mom will be 90 years "old" in November and is living with us. Never a dull minute around our house! :)

Career: Retired medical transcription service owner.

One of the most fulfilling and exciting things we have ever been involved in is teaching others "How to discover Truth for themselves" through Precept Ministries inductive Bible studies.

Love life! Love God! Love family! Love people!

Sorry, I meant to ask you earlier, are you related to Martha Bridges? We were both in the class of 70. If so, please tell her I said, Hello.

Not exactly sure when we saw it, but I do know it's been many years.

Sorry it's been a while since I checked my page. How wonderful to hear that Pat is still alive. There must have been some terrible mix-up because my Mother and I read it in the obits several years ago! Even had her senior picture! Anyway I am so glad to hear that it was a mistake. Thanks for letting me know.

Hi Jane,
It's so good to hear from you. I've enjoyed reading about you and your beautiful family. Aren't grandchildren a blessing?
This is such a great place to re-connect and keep up with everyone. I just found out about it recently. I love looking back at the old pictures people post.
I see you're retired now from medical transcribing but do you know anyone that might be hiring right now? My daughter-in-law used to do that too but she has a new baby and would like to work from home again.
Good to talk to you,
Virginia Williams

You mentioned to Pat Ottinger. I believe she died a few years after graduation, not sure of the details. All I know is I was a freshman when she was a senior, we had choir together and I remember what a kind and thoughtful person she was. Also very beautiful. Wish someone would add her to the "Memories" section. The only picture I have is in the "68" annual.

Hi there Jane, I'm so glad you found me. I'm just learning to maneuver this site, so it would probably have been a while before I found you. I'm glad to see you are doing well and are so happy. I looked at your daughter's sites - they are beautiful girls (no surprise there). I know it's wonderful to have all of your family nearby and I'll bet your grands keep you very busy!! You are so right about Shelby and I staying active. A regular bicycle ride for us is 30-40 miles. Although, we have both done several Metric Century rides (62 mi) and Shelby has done Century rides (100 mi) a number of times now. He also has done week long bike rides where they ride 60-90 miles a day . Yep, that is not a misprint. I was 60 in Oct. and Shelby was 60 in Jan. We love to travel and have been all over the US. We're campers (tent for 32 yr) and got a travel trailer after be both retired. Of course, I remember you, Norma, and I were the only little girls around. One memory I have of you back them is that your foot was cut by accident with a razor and you had to use crutches - funny the things we remember. Did you know that I was born in that House? None of us were born in a hospital!! Sounds like the dark ages now, doesn't it? My mom died in 1975 - she had ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) and can't tell what a void her death left in my life & heart. My dad died in 1984 from a heart attack (his second) and Don died in 1986, heart attack, also. Jerry had a massive heart attack in 1985, had 5 bypasses and an artificial valve. He had to have the valve replaced about 9 yr ago. Tommy had a heart attack in 1987, had bypass surgery, and has had to have a stent put in since then. If you are keeping track, that's 4 years straight of heart attacks, so you see now why I am so active, try to eat healthy, never smoked and watch my weight (not quite as skinny as I used to be). I'm so sorry to hear you dad has passed away. Give your mom a big hug from me and cherish every minute you have with her (ask her lots of questions now)!! I have my folks pictures and there are two with Jimmy and Jack with my brothers. If you give me your email address, I'll scan and send them to you. Whew!! That's a pretty long reply. I'll close now :) Please keep in touch. Betty

Hey Jane good hearing from you. I've been talking to Vicki Bowden some and they are planning reunion for the 69 class and are talking about combining our class also. I told it might be fun so she sent me this email address hueytown1969@yhoo.com. You might want to contact her also and maybe we can get something together. Sounds fun. Keep in touch. Judy

Hey Jane,
It is nice to hear from you. I am hoping to have pictures of my children on here by the end of the week. Emily just turned 8 yesterday and John will be 11 in October. It is hard to believe how fast they are growing up. It just seems like yesterday that Jamie and I were playing over at your house. Say hey to your family for me. I just might stop by one day and visit.

Hello Jane,
Otto is a registered Yorkie. However, some Yorkies have softer hair than others. Otto's hair is as soft as a baby's! His color is tan and blue; it looks black until you're in the sun and then you can tell it has a deep blue hue. He is about 11-12" tall and only weighs about 7lbs. I hope your grandson's dog has the same temperament mine does. Otto is the sweetest little dog I've ever been owned by! ;)
