Hi Irish. The boys are cute. There's going to be a lot more red hair in the world. Take care.

Thank you, but I think the kids are far prettier than I ever was. They do look like me though, except none of them got my brown eyes. Just send me a private message with your email address and your phone numbers and we'll find sometime when we can get together for coffee or lunch sometime. It might have to be after my son's football season is over. I am at the ballpark just about every night right now and this will go on until the end of October.

About Me:
My twins, Connor and Brodie, turned 1 on Valentine's Day, I'm officially retiring from the Air Force after 20 years of service on 1 Nov 08, and I'm back home to raise my boys!

I was in Korea when I found out I was pregnant and in a Korean hospital with a translator when they discovered twins. All I heard the doc say was "twinsie" and he and my translator went off on a tangent of Korean. I'm laying there waving my hands saying "Hello English please!" Then she said twins and I about fell off the table! Talk about a shock! I had planned on one baby but instead I got two for one!

I almost lost them at 25 weeks and was hospitalized and then placed on bedrest until they were born one month early by emergency C-section on Valentine's Day. Connor was 7 lbs 8.4 oz 19" and Brodie was 6lbs 8oz and 19 1/4". So over 14lbs of baby and 38+ inches! It's a good thing I was paralyzed from the spinal cuz otherwise I would have fallen off the table when they told me how big they were. It explained why I was so HUGE! I was diagnosed with Post partum depression after they were born and fought my way back so I could be the best mommy for them.

They are the loves of my life, I didn't know my heart could beat outside my body but it does every day as I look at them. My world has gone topsy turvy in a huge way in the last year but I love every minute of it.

So after 20 years of rambling around the world, I'm finally home and starting a stable home for my boys.

My hobby now is vintage jewelry. I love finding a piece of old jewelry and restoring it. I have an online store called VintageTreasures4You and I'm hoping to build it up enough to supplement my retirement so when I do go back to work it's because I want to, not because I have to.

So that's my life :-)

My Daddy

Since the birth of my boys, the biggest and hardest hitting change is that my daddy's gone. He passed away on 9 July from a massive heart attack. He was 69 years old. In a way it was a blessing because they tell us he never knew what hit him. But those are empty words right now. There's nothing anyone can say that makes the hurt go away right now. All I can do is concentrate on my boys and stay busy.

I talk to him every night. I tell him what the boys did that day. He was so damn excited when h… Continue
