About Me:

Owner FE FI FAUX FUM--Painting, Faux Finishing & Home Decor for 17 years. I make and sell my own products. My work has been featured in mags, on tv, decorators showhouses & in many million dollar homes.

My most recent work has been Edgars Bakery (Hwy 119) Taco Bell, Jacks, Tacala (largest franchise of Taco Bell in the U.S.) Kobe Japanese Steakhouse & Hoover High

I have 4 kids & a 10 month old beagle whose main goal in life is to give me hell. He is of the devil. He acts like one of the kids but I once had to break down and tell him he was really a dog....he was like...."WHAT?!? and ran off screaming like a lil girl. Not quite sure how to tell him about Santa!!! His name is Grizzly....I call him satan.

IMPORTANT LIFE LESSONS I LEARNED AS A PARENT:
1.Do not...I repeat do not stick the end of the Reynolds Vacuum sealer to your chin. It WILL leave a perfectly circled hickey on you!!! And do not listen to your teenaged girls peer pressuring you into doing it!!! Darn hickey stayed for 2 weeks!!! Yes....true story!!! You actually think I could make something like that up?!?
2.We once had a pet named Bob. Bob was a lobster. Bob had the run of our house for 2 days. Everything was fine until I had to break the news that Bob was really our food...not our pet. I learned to never let your kids name your food.

I once dreamed I was a chocolate easter bunny & my dog looked at me with drool. I was like "Oh Snap" I must now watch what I eat!!

Ok...thats my profile & because Im a woman, it will change constantly. I must go now, the voices in my head keep calling me.

I've only kept in touch with a few people from junior high, David Ashley, Sherry Wade Humes, Kelly Contorno, Kelley Swatzell. I just can't believe we are the age we are!!! Life is great, I have an awesome husband that I met when I was 16yrs. Been married 21 yrs and have 4 beautiful children. Colby 17 yrs, Chelsea 16 yrs, Brianna 13 yrs, Kyle 11 1/2 yrs. They are just awesome!! Love pics of your painting, that is great!!! I am a Director of Preschool Ministries at our church and run the Mom's Day Out/Preschool program. I love it, nothing like watching children grow and learn!!!

After Kay retired from nursing, she and Dad brought a ton of horses and have a good size farm/ranch in NW Alabama. She's not doing to good these days, Dad's hanging in there and trying to take care of the property and her too. For the life of me I can't remember hardly anyones name who we use to hang out with at school or from the neighborhood. I'd love to catch up with them but the years haven't been to good on the ole memory. Send me some of their names if you have time. By the way, are you on facebook?
