- After graduation, I went to work for the UAB VA Hospital and there met my future husband, who was in dental school. He went on to become an oral surgeon and we were together for fifteen years. We had three wonderful sons, who are the light of my life. They have given me four grandchildren, two boys and two girls, ages 5,8,11 and 13. We moved all over the country..lived in Alexandria, LA; Los Angeles, CA (actually Studio City, a suburb); Bismarck, ND and Poplar Bluff, MO. After we divorced, I finished my degree in Business Administration at Southeast Missouri State Univ. in Cape Girardeau, MO. Lived for one year in Phoenix, AZ and I"ve been in Florida for 14 years now. I live in Palm Harbor, FL (Tampa Bay area) and am the Finance DIrector for a non-profit organization. I have been in a relationship with a wonderful man for the past thirteen years and have enjoyed traveling the world. I have been in every one of the 50 states and Puerto Rico and 11 countries in Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. While I enjoy accounting, my creative side has led me into oil painting. While I have participated in many sports through the years, my favorite now is walking the beach close to my home or swimming in my pool. I just discovered this site through a contact with Carol Jones Vincent on Facebook. I'll look forward to hearing from old friends and classmates. Seems impossible that it has really been 44 years since we left HHS.

Charlie and Lois Patterson Roberts said… - Hi Diane, Looks like life is good for you. Charlie and I too love to travel and hope to do more now that we are both retired. We are still in Hueytown after all of these years and still enjoy seeing and keeping up with lots of old friends. Funny you mentioned Carol Vincent, we see her and Larry often and have dinner with them and Lois Rounsaville Carnes and her husband frequently. We still love Hueytown and all the memories it holds for us.
