Angela, I believe Suzi was a patient of mine. I used to work for a group of eye surgeons at former Health South and I think that is where I met Suzi and her husband. If so, I remember her showing me her scar from her first transplant, she told me ...

Hey, Dodie, it so good to "see" you. You have a beautiful family and you all look so happy! I'm doing well here in Gardendale. We have lived here 10 years in November. My son is 15 (Vincent), and he starts 10th grade at the Jefferson County Intern...

HeyDenise,

Hope you are well. Sorry I haven't been on this site for awhile. Life is good here in California and yes I remember your Aunt Mary. How/where is she?

Thinking about coming back for the 30th reunion. I haven't been to any others, but am becoming more nostalgic in my late forties. What's up with that?

Take care and keep in touch.
John

I will encourage Gerald to keep looking for the video. I did not know your daughter is engaged. Congrats to all and let me know if you need any help. Talk to you soon.

YES, I remember the tutu! Too funny and I hope Gerald finds it, Lisa Hogg thought he had a copy. Would be great to show for the 30th reunion. Karen Cash has good pics on her page of Stunt Night and I want to look in my old pics too. Been busy with wedding and boy child going to college but it's on "my to do list." Hope things are good for you as well. Working on another "girls night out" so stay posted for details of when.

Hey, I will e-mail Gerald about the meeting and the video. I do need to get on face-book. I 'll need my son's help doing it, I'm sure. Talk to you soon.

Hey again Denise, you mentioned Gerald McFarland and could you let him know about the meetings and the reunion please. Someone said he may have a video tape of Stunt Night and that would be wonderful to watch at the reunion. If not already he should join this site and/or facebook for dates and info too. Are you on facebook? There's groups for Hueytown, you should join. Trying to spread the word on planning meetings, not a lot are coming and there needs to be more involved like before. Thanks and hope to see you soon.

hey!!! it's so good to hear from you. i can't believe my "baby" is 15. i still think of him as 5yrs old and looking about 7 or 8.
i cannot believe that about kathy.....how are her children, ashley and bradley? i guess they're older than i want them to be. i remember ashley being "sneaky" and bradley being "WILD".lol
about all i do now is work. i do enjoy scrapbooking and grandkids.....yes grandkids. i don't spend as much time w/ them as i would like, however, i do enjoy when they are around. i do have some health issues now that also keeps me down sometimes, but, i am doing better. i have hemocromotosis ( i produce 5 x's the amount of iron i should). i go for monthly phlebotomies and hopefully that will slow down as i get my iron level under control. i have no organ damage which was a concern at first, but the fatigue and joint pain can be "annoying" and frustrating.
please tell vincent and frank i said hello, talk to ya soon.....pat

Hey Denise, How in the world are you? It was so good to see you, and you look great! The last time I saw you was a sad occasion for the both of us. Kathy was a very special person that will be greatly missed. I will miss her laughter, and her great since of humor. I know it was difficult for you to sing at her funeral, but you have a voice of an angel that was felt by everyone who loved her. Yes, I do talk to Kay every now and then. She has had some health problems, but she is trying to get them under control. No wonder I remembered your brother, He comes from a great family!!! Tell him that I said hello, and it was so good to hear from you.
Love you girl, Tammy

HEY DENISE...so good to hear from you! Sounds like you're doing well and I'm so glad for you. I married Mike in October of 1980, Amanda came 9 months & 22 days later and Matthew 9 years to the day after Amanda. We moved from Hueytown in 1985 and lost touch with so many but this site has been wonderful in getting to see everybody again. I try to make the Habanero outings and hopefully will see you July 21st. Plans are in the making for our 30th reunion, Aug. 7th, 2010 at the Bessemer Civic Center but that's all I know to date. So sad to hear about Kathy on here, I hadn't heard before. There's a lot from our class that are gone and that's so sad. Also, use to be "Band Booster Parent" and loved it for 4 years, our daughter was on the colorguard in high school. We are going to try and make some of Hueytown's games this year to see folks. Take care and keep in touch and hopefully I'll see you soon at Habanero's.
