After graduation, I attended U.A.B. and received my B.S. and M.A. in early childhood education. I have taught at Concord Elementary School since 1988. In 1991, I married Keith McCroskey. In 1998, God blessed us with a wonderful son, John Cameron. We attend Union Hill Baptist Church in the Rock Creek area. In 2004, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I had chemotherapy and radiation in 2007 and 2008. Through God's grace, many prayers, wonderful doctors, and compassionate nurses, I am in a state of remission. We love to travel and look forward to many more trips in the future.
Hey Denise. Thank you for the message and your prayers. I didn't know that this site still existed. I thought it was taken down a while back. Reb came through surgery fine but is miserable right now. See you at church as soon as we can get back to normal. :) Hope you are all doing well.

Hey Denise and family,
Wow! I can't believe John Cameron is old enough to be at HMS. We will have a "6th Grade Survivor Camp August 4" It's a half day event where students will be shown the ins and outs of HMS. (lockers, changing classes, lunch, PE, rules). Hope to see you there.
Yes I do remember you. How's Randy doing? I saw your dad recently at a funeral home. Too many of past C.C.H.B.C members have dies in the past couple of years. I don't see too many of the old church friends since I am in Alabaster. Keep in touch!
Thank you! Yes we have been enjoying our summer. We have made it to HMS too soon in my opinion. Carden should still be sitting in your lap in 2nd grade! See you soon.
Thank you so much I am very excited! You know you will always be my favorite teacher. I will never forget all the special treatment you gave me and all those fun memories (like the first time you really got to hear my asthma haha)
Denise, sorry for the late response, been so busy to check back on the site. Of course, all our kids went to PG and Kelly was there for a while, so we are very familiar with "Mr. McCroskey". It's great to hear from you, still the friendliest of '84. That may have been a while back but it seems like yesterday to me (ok, maybe last week). My kids think I'm so ancient. God Bless. -Brian
