Class of 1973! Went to Rutledge Jr. High from 1st grade to 6th grade. 7th Grade was at Midfield, 8th grade was Bessemer Jr. High, then Pittman in 9th grade. HHS sophomore thru senior year.
Hi Deb,
Yes it is true, I went to Rutledge Jr. High. So that make's me a real Rebel. YEAH!!
Your timing is impeccable. I just got back home from the hospital today. Had to have emergency appendectomy last Thursday night. Everything is fine now just some recuperation time. But, yes I did go to Rutledge, started in the 3rd grade (1963) in Mrs. Wiggins class. Then had Mrs. Rutledge and Mrs. Love. Great friends and times were had by all, I think. When did you start?
Hi Debbie
Yes-- Clark is my brother. He is divorced and has one son Josh who is 13 years old. He just moved in with my brother John recently who lives in our family home near the Bessemer Super Highway. I will post a recent picture of Clark soon and let him know I heard from you. Maybe you two can connect by email. Take care.
It looks like I will not be coming that way. As with all sales, things have changed with the economy. We are saving money every way we can. I do hope to get there one day. If not for work, maybe I can come for fun.
Well, we moved to KY in December of 2002 and moved dad here in March of 2003. He was not well and it was hard on all of us. I was making two drives to AL a week just to check on him and so the move just made sense. He passed away a couple months later. Right after THAT, my daughter and hubby were hit by a car and Madison was hospitalized for 3 months at the University of TN Medical Ctr. Rick's injuries were light, but hers were critical. As you can see, she is fine now and our miracle baby. Lots of prayers and the helping hand of God above heeled her. I am so glad he didn't have to experience Madison's horrible accident with us. So, how come you and hubby are living in WA? Do you like it there? Do you miss AL?
Hey kiddo. I love this site, You hear from ghosts from the past. You look great and sounds like you have a good life. That is a good thing. Do you get to sneak back home? I saw you talked to Terri. It's great to hear from you.
Great to hear from you!!! I to have moved away and miss everyone and everything in Alabama! Great looking family you have there. How's the rest of your family? Tell them I said hello!
It's TK again. Bill just got home from work and he posted our family picture. Bill and I are holding the boys. I have Cooper and he has Chase. Behind me is Monica and Barry, Coopers' parents. Then Amber and Brad, Chases' parents and finally Bree.
Hey Debbie!!!
Isn't this a great site???? How are you? You have a nice looking family. I have not posted a picture yet. Too many moving parts for me. Bill will do it for me later. Ray is fine. Married to his 3rd wife now. I think this one will take. Ha Ha. He never had kids. Still lives in Hueytown. Has 33 years with County Sheriff office. Looking to retire soon. To start another job down around Mobile. My dad died in 1986. Cancer from asbestos. So did his brother. From working at US Steel. Mom remarried in 1990 to Louis Stubbs. Did you ever know Joyce, from class of '72? She is my step sister now. Mom is happy again and that is all that matters.
Our son Brad lives in Bellevue also. Bellevue, NE that is. He is stationed at Offutt Air Force Base. Both of the girls live here. We are about 20 mins from St Louis, and about 3 miles from the STL International Airport.
I also am currently a 2 1/2 survivor of breast cancer. Boy did that floor me. None in the family. Now, both the girls have to stay on top of their health. But, I am doing great. The doctors are very happy with my progress. Sure makes you stop and think about what matters in life.
It is great to hear from you!!!! Send me an email: wcloggins@aol.com.
Do you ever get out this way? Let me know, I would love to see you again.
Take care!!
Hey Debbie... Yep, that's me, Bill's "little" brother. Only, I'm about 6 inches taller, and about 40 or 50 pounds heavier than him.
Those little girls of yours have really grown into beautiful young ladies. It's good to see one of them came to her senses and returned to the southeast. :o)
