This is Keith, Thanks for your prayers and thoughts
My name is Candace (Clemons) Freeman and I graduated from Hueytown High in 1988. After graduation, I immediately started UAB where I graduated from there in 1992 with a B.S. in Secondary Education (majors in English, history, and Spanish). I worked a few years as a full time substitute teacher; basically, for those on maternity or sick leave. I got discouraged because I was doing the work of a regular teacher and got sub pay. Worked for 5 years as an administrative assistant for various temp agencies. In 1995, I married Keith Freeman (he graduated from Brooklane Academy). He is a design draftsman. When we first married, he worked contract; thus, we had to move around to whereever the job was, so we have lived in Atlanta, Oklahoma City, Tempe, and now we are in Mesa, Arizona; that is, until Thursday May 29. On that day, we are moving to El Paso, TX where Keith has taken a job as a survey tech for a cellular communications company. We have one son, John-Mark, who is 10 years old. We adopted him from Kanjiripally, India at the age of 10 months. We have one cat,Lucky. I am blessed to be able to stay at home full time.
Look forward to meeting others who are from the Hueytown area. Moved back to Hueytown on February 25 due to Keith losing his job and the job market dying out west. We are currently living with my dad, so hope to see and hear from you all soon.
Keith and John Mark,
Candance was such a faithful Christian and a sweet friend. Everyone that knew her, knew how much she loved you both. I know you both will miss her so much. My prayers are with you. Keep your faith strong. Love in Christ, Diane Decker

Both parents are doing well. We had to buy them cellphones to keep track of them. In fact they are headed back to Florida to get away from our little blast of winter.
