- Hi from Colorado! It is nice to see so many familiar faces on this site. I married Ronny Crooks (HHS 1965) after college at JSU. We had one son, Colby Crooks who passed away November, 2008. Like father, like son, he traveled with NASCAR racing teams. I raise my grandson, Kyle Crooks who is 11 years old. He is such a blessing! I married for a second time. Gary, Kyle and I live in Castle Rock, Colorado, just South of Denver. Most of my career has been in media sales and management with television and radio stations. I ventured into publishing several years ago, and now a partner of a successful online natural parenting magazine, Mindful Mama. In addition, I work with Healing Lifestyles & Spas handling marketing and sales for their website at www.healinglifestyles.com.
We have an Arabian horse, Magellan, an AQHA Paint, Smoky, and a long haired dachsund, Scooter.
If you plan a trip to Colorado for skiing, I will be happy to give you the local scoop on the ski resorts and where to find bargains.

Let me know if you decide to ski Colorado this year. I will be happy to give you ski lessons, and I promise you I will take you to your next level. Altitude is high at every resort, but the key is drinking alot of water before the trip and while you are here. It makes a huge difference.

F.Lee Moore said… - Hey Barb, I will be skiing a little this year...I spend most of my time on the snow machines now...starting skiing too late in life to very good...still love it but about 3 half days on skis and I am done and back on the machines...Not sure where I am going this year...Did Breck again last year. fun but alditude in Breck is a killer....
I will probably be out there in Feb.09 unless I hook up on a last minute hunting trip.

- Hey, Barbara! Hope you remember me! It's been a long time, but I remember you well. I'm happy to see your life is so good. You seem happy, but then you always were! You're still cute as ever. I've wondered about you often. I'll bet it was a long trip from Alabama to Colorado. What a great place to live. I visited my brother in Golden when he lived there. It's a beautiful place.
