Barbara,
You and your family are precious to Keith and me. We love your children. They were just absolute joys to teach. Would you have more?
Your pics are great. My favorites are Jess holding flowers and " baseball Chris". See you at the pharmacy.
Love,
Denise Mac
I love your opening song "You Raise Me Up" and the others. I just sat at your page and worshiped.
I know that you don't know me, but Thanks anyway!
P.S. I played/play the flute also, but not too well anymore. I need to go back to Mr. Hulgan and take lessons again!!! My daughter also played but didn't love it like I did. Her teachers weren't as good as ours.
Please tell Teri I said hello; she and my daughter (Jennifer) were friends when they were young. The last time I saw Teri she was working at Eckerds on Hwy 31 in Hoover.
Thank you so much for those words! I miss my Nat too!
She left to go back to school this morning....she'll be
busy with her sorority activities for a few weeks so we
won't see much of her until September. I will tell her
that you said hello!
Hey Barbara,
Good to hear from you. We ran into each other a few years back at the pharmacy in Food World in Bessemer. It has been awhile, so you probably don't remember.
Hi Barbara,
Its nice to see you doing well. Your family is beautiful. Its hard to believe that we have been out of highschool almost 20 years!!!!! Amazing, I still feel young anyway though. Hey I had grey hair in HS...LOL.
Glad to hear you still are musically inclined. I played in the Million Dollar Band for a while but since then not much on the clarinet. I still find myself playing my imaginary clarinet on "Yeah Alabama "fight song, but who knows maybe I will pick it back up one day. I asked my neices and nephews which one was going to play in the band and they informed me that band is now for "geeks". Pardonez moi!!!!!!
My husband and I are still debating whether we are coming to the reunion so maybe we will see you soon. Glad to see you.
Hello stranger! How are you doing? Looks like you're doing just wonderful! What a beautiful family. It's so good to see that you're doing well...as I always knew you would. Take care.
Hey Barbara, It's good to hear from you. Glad to see you are still using your musical talent. Looks like life is keeping you busy. I would like to make it back to church to visit with everyone, but every time we get in town we are usually busy running around trying to visit family (they are never satisfied). Want to hear something crazy? I married a Minor Christian alum also. He was class of '86 and his sister was class of '85. Such a small world. When Jordan was a baby, everyone said she looked like her daddy, but now everyone thinks she looks like me. She acts like Cheryl, though. I call her Cheryl quite often. She plays the piano. I hope she sticks with it and continues to play. I would love for her to be able to play like you. My youngest is trying out the violin. She's finding it harder than she thought.
you better be glad i couldn't find the one of me and you that we had made together at school. wish i could find it though it was great. i rembmer the twista beads i was wearing. it was so cool then, hahahaha talk to you later sista
Hey, tell Jessica congrat! for the awards day at school, Concord Baptist did very well!! Susan called and said write down what she got so she could put it in the bulletin, pictures too if you have them. See you CR
I'm a HHS 1988 grad that can't believe how fast time has flown! (gettin' way to close to the 40 mark!!) Married with 2 kids, 3 dogs and 2 cats, and have been a legal drug-dealer for 15 years!! I graduated Samford in 1993 from pharmacy school. I put in 15 years with Brunos/Food World until they closed alot of stores.( I did work part time for a while to try to spend more time with the kiddos.) I I now work with Teri Hulgan Wade at her store, Rock Creek Pharmacy....and I am now full- time with her and lovin' it!! --- (except the full - time part.)..no one ever told me how expensive kids would be....or I would have reconsidered!!!!!LOL !!
My oldest is Jessica , 13, who also plays the flute and goes to HMS. My son, Christopher, is 9 and attends Concord Elementary.(Probably not going to be musically inclined.......just a guess.......!!!!) And yes , I still play the piano and organ for church, and still play my flute for occasional specials. (My daughter uses it in band as well..)
Most of the time we are either at the kids' softball, baseball, basketball or band events. My hubby, a minor christian attendee, (Chris Sr) is a BAMA nut...so we also have to include the occasional football game.......
to our social life. ( Although,, when I am mad at him....I do whistle the Auburn fight song.....or Rocky Top) All said, life is good, I've got a job and a roof over my head.....spoiled kids.....bills.....grey hair.....missin' the good ol' days!!!!!
