I have been married to Lee for 18 years. We have two wonderful boys. Tyler is 14 and Zack is 12.
I graduated from UAB School of Nursing in 1994. In 2006 I completed the RN first assistant program. I am currently working as RNFA in cardiothoracic surgery at UAB. Lee works for the Jefferson County Health Department. We still live in Concord and attend Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Hueytown.
We spend most of our time keeping up with the boys activites. They attend Bessemer Academy (Go Rebels!). Tyler is in the ninth grade. He is on the JV football team and in the BETA club, Key club, Teens for Christ, and Red White and Blue Crew. He is also in Journey for Christ which is our drama team at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He attained his black belt in Taekwondo last year. Zack is in the seventh grade. He is in Teens for Christ, and the Red White and Blue Crew. He loves sports. He is on the JV baseball and football teams. They both love to ride motorcylces too.
April, You might not remember my family, but we were great friends of your Grandparents Headley. They would baby sit for us when we were little and I remember Ms. Headley would bring you to our church suppers and Vacation Bible School. We went to Concord and River Road Baptist (Faith Baptist) churches in Concord. Hope you all are well. I have such great memories of your grandparents. They were just wonderful people.
Hi April, Sorry so long in responding. To be honest, I forgot about the HHS page and lost my log on. But now it is saved. My computer had issues. I can't believe how long it has been. Your boys are gorgeous. Allison my oldest started Kindergarten and we've been busy with starting school. Work is always crazy and takes alot of my time. My mom and dad moved to Tuscaloosa about 4 years ago and help me with family and work. I could not do it without them. Trying to arrange it so I can come to the reunion, but will see. Hope you are well. I am on face book more than here if you are on...send me your name. Love Audra

It is so great to hear from you--I don't get on this site very often--I'm sorry it took me so long to respond. You look fantastic--I cannot believe we are now the grown ups and in charge of these wonderful children. How is it possible that your babies are so BIG?
How are your mom and dad? I had so much fun at your house when I was younger-except for that time I broke my ankle--ha ha!
Well Hello fellow Concordian! Havent been on this site in a while, good to see you. Your mom was the meanest librarian in the history of Concord School! And I love her for it! Tell her and your dad I said hello! I need to buy some stay sharp pencils with erasers! Glad to see you are doing well and still living in Gods country. My mom and dad are still on Lillys Lane, so Im down that way every now and then. Do you still have a shetland pony? Be good!
It's even better you were the first to send a comment my way. I'm glad things are going so well. It is a small world which sometimes feels big. I really like this site and hope you enjoy the reunion. There is nothing like child hood friends and memories. KEPP IN TOUCH. If you ever need ANYTHING, I'm here.
Yes, John is playing ball again this year. He moved up to the majors, I think he is a little nervous. Unfortuntely, he had the flu for a week and was not able to go to practice. He has been at Camp Cosby with school this week, so he has not been at practice this week either. I know his coach is probably not happy. I hope things are going well for your family.
HI WOW, it is great to hear from old friends and that they still remember. :) I have been away for 11 years in Mobile, AL. I am looking for work here in Birmingham so I am not always near a computer because with trying to find work, getting kids enrolled in school - that was an act of congress, it has just been absolutely crazy. I do have to give thanks to Tracey (Widner then) Fagan-now she is the one that turned me onto the site. Hueytown has changed alot and it is nice in a way to be back home with family. I will upload pics of me and the children when I have time. You look great.
