I graduated in 1966 and married Joe Earley in 1967. We have two children, Shannon age 39 and Jeff, age 36. Joe and I remain friends today; however, we are both remarried.
In 1992 I married Charlie Carruba who graduated from John Carroll in 1966. We have one son Steven who attended HHS and graduated this year.
I worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield for 29 years and retired in 2003. I currently work at Liberty Truck Insurance in Birmingham. (My brother Raymond Wallace Sellers graduated in 1964 from HHS and is employed by Liberty Truck Sales - same company.)
I have two beautiful grandaughters-Stormy,age 17 and Casie, age 15. Both are in the band at their schools.
My hobbies are geneology research, crocheting, reading and creative writing. In the past few years I have had several articles published in The Birmingham News, The Western Star, poetry.com and the Tannehill Trader. In 2006 four Hueytownites formed the SonShine Writer's Group. We are a Christian group of writers who have an outreach program for people in the community. We meet once a month at the Hueytown Library to share our writing and to fellowship.
I am looking forward to the reunion in 2009. Thank you for including the 60's.

Yes, I am sorry for the delay in responding. Linda died a few weeks ago. Danny is my father and he does not have cancer but he is terminally ill. He is the only living sibling. She did not live in Fairfield but rather she and Walter lived in Helena. I wish I had checked this earlier I could have given you the arrangements. She is buried in the family lots in Vahalla Cemetary in Bessemer. Take care.. Tanya
Hi Annette,
My aunt just called me and told that Linda Summerlin died yesterday. I did not now it, but was told she had cancer. Also, her brother Danny does too. My aunt said he was told 2 years ago he only had 6 mos. My aunt did not know the arrangements, they are waiting on her son to call them back. But, said Linda lived in Fairfield somewhere. Sorry to pass on the bad news to you. She certainly had a difficult life, but you would not have known that. I will miss her a lot.
