Does anyone know David Cowger's email address or where he is located now? I have searched several times for him and his family and have never came up with anything. (His brother was my stepfather) Thanks for any help!

About Me:
I graduated from HHS in 1991. Following high school, I went to the University of Alabama and graduated in 1996 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I met my hubby, David (originally from Atlanta), at Garywood Assembly of God in 1996 and we were married right after graduation. Shortly after that, I moved to Springfield, Missouri to put him through graduate school. Then I took my turn getting my master's in Reading from Walden University in 2005. We have three children: Aaron, age 8, Luke, age 6 and Sarah, age 3. I am a first grade teacher right now and love it! Our newest adventure right now is planting a church in Fayetteville. I look forward to hearing what's going on with you! Can't believe it's been 17 years since high school! Does that make me old?? If I am, then you are too! HA!

Everyone with daughters - grab a tissue! Steven Curtis Chapman lost his little 5-year old daughter recently. Please pray for the family! So sad, she was hit by her brother in a car in their driveway. Tragic.

Be in prayer . . .

We are in the middle of starting our church here in Fayetteville, GA on Sept. 7th. We need PEOPLE to help. Please pray that God would send people to help and people to attend. It's getting down to the wire and I know God is faithful but the human part of me wants to STRESS out!!

I love the 4th of July!

It is my favorite day of summer. I wanted to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July! Enjoy the burgers and the fireworks and the watermelon. Take time to thank God that we live in a country where we can enjoy freedom. There's no where like the USA!

School's Out for Summer

Just wanted to celebrate the time of warm nights and sunny days and NO SCHOOL. Hanging out by the pool with no particular place to go. YEAH! Coming home to the "ham" the week of June 23rd and can't wait! I just love coming home in the summer time. It's fun just sitting on the back porch swing listening to the crickets chirp with a big glass of sweet tea in hand talking about nothing and everything important.

Back in the Saddle Again!

I am back home from Alabama and it was a wonderful trip! It was too short, as usual. I saw my family and many friends. I also got my Bob Sykes! This week I am back to work and doing our end of the year test called the CRCT. I am READY for summer. Only 29 more days! Be back on May 8th for my niece, Lindsey's wedding. Can't wait.

Coming home for Spring Break!

I'm coming home next Thursday for Spring Break! I am so excited. I can't wait to have Bob Sykes BBQ and see my family and friends. It truly is "Sweet Home Alabama." I didn't realize the true meaning of that song until I moved away. Granted, Georgia is the next best thing - love it here!

Hey Baby Girl I just can't tell you how much I enjoyed seeing you and "mini-you" at the wedding this weekend. Sarah is just adorable and reminds me so much of the precious child I used to carry on my hip....I had SO much fun, even though not feeling up to par - always great to spend time with my cousins! I love you Sweety...please keep in touch!

We had fun too! We would love to come over, if I can get all my crew together. The 29th sounds good to us, I'll let everyone know.

I let yesterday and most of today get by me and forgot to tell Lukie "Happy Birthday!" I can't wait for you guys to be here. I need to starve myself for the next week to save up for all of the eating that I plan to do. Just Kiddin'. Tell the kids that Abby plans to "stay at Granny's the whole time that the cousins are here." I told her that I would be on vacation and I wanted her with me some and she said, "I see you everyday..." Oh well, I guess I know where I stand. Cute though!!!

I may have to work Monday, but will be off the entire week. Anyway, I can't wait for some vacation time. We had planned to go to NC to take the kids to the Biltmore House, but since Mike had to have surgery, we decided to postpone the trip for now. I will be on vacation at home. YEA!!! I love to travel, but sometimes it is more work on Mom than staying at home. I am sure that you can relate here.

What about Thanksgiving? Are you guys staying in Atlanta? I couldn't remember what you had said.

I just gave up. I think that these two are playing some kind of game to see how much they can stir up. I decided to not give them an audience anymore. I read Allison's post below and I thought of Nae when that guy posted that blog. This is the same guy as the Obama blog.

I see you are playing on the NING. I hardly get on here anymore but am browsing right now. My mom would have to GO OFF on that post about Fibromyalgia on the front page. READ! That guy has nerve. He is the same one that started the debate you got into.

Hey Sis! I just wanted to check on you. I hope that things are better at school. As always, where your children are concerned, God has placed you as their protector here and you stand up for your baby! He is a precious boy and that is only ONE person's opinion! Love you!
