I forgot my camera...I wish I'd had it! It was a perfect day for it, & lots of folks there! Enough food 2 feed an Army too!! It was good to see folks I hadn't seen in years! Sandra Cordes, Mike Mooney, the Slowes sisters, Janice Childess, & lots more...

Not so long ago I found my RJHS 62 pin. What a trip! We haven't been to the reunion in a few years but will have to make an effort this year.

Hey You were right between me and my brother Johnny Hood, I would have graduated in 65 if I hadn't flunked the first grade. Hope all is well with you and plan to see you in June. Do you remember my little Ricky (see myspace.com/therickhoodband) also somerhood.com

I would have started at Rutledge the year it burned...I watched the fire, secretly thinking "Now I won't have to go to school, Yippee!" Got sent to old Wilkes School for 3 years - yipes. then back to Rutlege for 4th - 8th grades. Had Mr. Dial and Mr. Douglas as principals. Mr. Perdue as band director....Classes in the portable trailers out back...what fun. Then I moved on to MHS!!!
