Pasquales Pizza and The Game Room

Remember walking to Pasquales Pizza after the footballgames. So many people in the parking lot. That is another great memory for me.

It was so much fun to hang out with the gang after football games. There was so many people. There are still a few of them around.

I remember they'd bring a little mini-carnival to the parking lot every year. I distinctly remember listening to Alice Cooper "Only Women Bleed" over the sound system while riding the Ferris Wheel on one awesomely gorgeous day. The weather, the music - everything was so ethereal - so perfect - it's a few moments stuck in my mind almost like it was yesterday!

Ah.... Pasquales. Cultural center of the Hueytown universe in the mid-to-late-1970's! I spent a great deal of my time hangin' out there with the Dadster and the rest of the Van Club and various other authority-questioners I loved so well!

Greetings All!

My brother, Gloice Works, owned Pasquale's. The connecting ice cream parlor, Lady Michelle's, was named after his daughter, Deana Michelle Works.
