What a wonderful teacher and person Mrs. Mary is. It is great to see how much she is thought of.

I was always the quite kid in class and never said a word. The one time I spoke out of turn, I got my mouth taped shut for it. She had a way with discipline, but she was the best kindergarten teacher. Every time I pass by her house I smile and say to my family, "There's Mrs. Mary's house".

Hey guys! I'm good friends with Amelia, Mrs Mary's granddaughter. Kris and Merrill and their families are all doing great! My daughter Melissa and Mrs. Mary's great-grandson are the same age and were a part of her last kindergarten class. The big slide is still in the back yard!!!! Mrs. Mary is currently tutoring children in the kindergarten. She is a wonderful woman!!!!!!!

I remember a kid once having trouble in the bathroom, and Mrs. Mary had to help him or her with getting out of and into their pants. I think an accident and clean-up may have occurred. I recall at the time being so glad that it wasn't me. I also remember standing in line to get my wrist paddled with the ruler for some form of misbehaving, and peeking at all the napping classmates when I was supposed to be resting.

Kindergarten Cop stole Mrs. Mary's "whistle"; anybody else remember standing in front of the class to get whacked on the hand with a ruler? those were the days . . .

Mrs. Mary's kindergarden was the greatest. I still remember the broom-stick horseys we used to ride/skip around on.

I also remember her giving out sweetheart roses at graduation to this little girl and boy. My brother almost ruined our Christmas play...he ran on stage with his Smirf. I was so embarrassed....I have pictures of that somewhere too.
