yes! i took, and wish i was still there taking now! think they have a class for 40 yr olds? :) always wanted to be a dancer when i grew up, on broadway and own my onw dance school. oh well

Oh my! How fun to see this. I worked at the studio when I was 15, my first job teaching tumbling. Just last month I was going through some old pic's and found the recital book. We went to New York for five days....it's was great!

I still remember the words to one of my recital dances! I had so much fun with dancing. Great memories.

I took dance at TeriDona many years ago...A long time ago...I saw Teri at a Vestavia Hills beauty salon and she looks great as ever.

Just an FYI everyone....this weekend, May 24, is the dance recital at the BJCC. Start time is 6:00 pm.

This is going to be an amazing event! The theme is "A Step In Time" because this is the 40th recital being put on by TeriDona! What an awesome milestone and accomplishment!!!!!

I know not everyone can or will come, but myabe drop a card to Teri in the mail, c/o of the dance school, and let her know how proud we are that the school has been in business for 40 years and, as for me, how honored I am to have been a small part of the history.

Oh yes, let's see....from the time I was 7 until 16 and on my toes...Loved it and would never trade all the memories and friends.

I've still got a few of the old programs stashed away somewhere. Those are a blast from the past! I gotta find those and post a pic from the very beginning of my dance career. 1968, maybe... and our group wore these HUGE plastic sunflower bras (compared to our little-bitty bodies) and flower hats.... hilarious!

I'm not in the picture, though - because I had chicken pox!
Check out some of the costumes in my pics if you like (from the mid-to-late 70's) - "Leeroy Brown", "Russian Cossack", "Star Wars".....I have LOTS more I just have to find.

The studio is still doing amazing...just jumping in here for a response.

My cousin is in her fifth year there, so I get to see her at least once a week, if not twice, due to her classes.

For anyone who'd like to attend, the recital is May 24, at 6:00, at the BJCC. It's going to be amazing!!!!
