Hello to all our Methodist family. As some of you may know, my wife's father, Ralph Anderson is a jeweller. One of the pieces he created is a rendition of the UMC cross & flame. My wife and I are now marketing some of his work and thought perhaps some of you may be interested. The cross & flame is available in gold or silver. It makes a great gift for birthdays, graduations, confirmations or Christmas. This jewelry is officially licensed by the United Methodist Church. Please contact us if you are interested and if you're ever in southwest Florida stop by and visit.

Skot & Dana Lowery

P.S. If anyone thinks this is an inappropriate venue for this please let me know and I will remove it.

Though I was a member of Vineland Park, I visited FUMC a lot with many friends growing up. Can remember the hoopla during construction of, like yesterday! Always loved it and said, "one day I'm going to get married here in this BEAUTIFUL church." I did. On October 4th 1980, to the love of my life....Michael Wayne Lewis

I got out of the Army in Nov. 1970. They were having services there on a concrete floor and folding chairs then. It was built just before then.

I got married in this church in 1970. What year was the round sanctuary built. I was a teen then, I think or pre-teen. It was a great place to grow up. I especially remember the Sunday School teachers. Names illude me now. Does anyone remember their names? Sligh?
