I have not seen Kendall in several years. The last time was probably late '80s and she was divorced from Mackey, the Hueytown policeman.

Kendall married Mickey Strickland not Vines. The last I heard she was living in Florida. I would love to hear from her.

Does anyone know where Kendall Higdon is now?
She married Mickey Vines, but they divorced.
The last time I saw her, she was teaching arobics.

Well, I am sorry I missed the luncheon too, but I think you guys look pretty fantastic!!!

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the 1966 Retrospect? Mine was damaged beyond repair some years ago and I would like to have another.

JR that is not exactly what I said,you were being kind.What I said was,In your wildest dreams when we were students eating lunch,did you ever think we would be back here eating lunch with a bunch of old geezers.All kidding aside,I would like to thank the class of 64 for inviting everyone to the wonderful lunch.These people spent a great deal of time and effort to put this on for us,they are a great bunch of people.I had not been back in over forty years,the old school looks very tired and run down.It was sad to see her that way.However,to all of us,even after she is bulldozed and gone,it will still be the new Hueytown High School.Thanks again to the class of 64 for making it possible to see many of my old and dearest friends once again.I look forward,good Lord willing, to attending many more of these wonderful events.

Jerry Burchfield commented to me Saturday, "Who would have thought some 43 years later we would be sitting in that lunchroom eating." Jerry and I waited for the bell to ring so we could go to class but it never happened, We were afraid Mr. Sylvester would have our butts for being late. The old school looks bad and of need of repair but so many memories.
