Amy Hill, you are cracking me up. You are soooo right. I haven't thought about that in along time. As long as we looked good from the front it didn't matter how that hair looked int he back. LOL

I was in the class of 1968, I can tell you something about "Big Hair" those were the good old days!

I hope I did this right. If I did you will see one of the orginal big hairdo. Ladies, you had it easy with your 2 can hairdo. In the sixties you teased your hair straight up, then re-teased, then you had to gently brush just the tips of the hair down in place to create a smooth bubble of hair, kinda like a football helment, until you reached the bottom of yor hair which had to be flipped up in one continuious fip all around your head. If there was a break in the flip at any time during the day you started all over again. You were constantly asking your friends "is my hair all right?" And Amy, you were so right---it was all right if it stuck straight out in the back as long as you had that flip going.

I was so guilty of it, I swear I had a perfect ski slope on my head. LOL. My husband called big hair "two can" hair, b/c girls used 2 cans of hairspay each morning. It wouldn't be so funny if it wasn't soo true.

I had BIG HAIR! It didn't matter what it looked like in the back, as long as it looked good coming!

You're right Becky.....she gets my vote! Maybe it was best that we graduated in 1980. Only my daughter had to suffer the 80's with me being her hairdresser.

Big hair was fun. My pastors wife calls it show dog hair. LOL My girls love looking back at those pictures and laughing.
