Linda - I had a few work study student jobs there too - one job I had that I loved was one summer I couldn't find anything and needed one to be able to stay the summer and I took at job with Health and Safety on campus inspecting the smoke detectors and fire extingushers all over campus and got to walk around all summer like that without being in an office. It was fun, I took my headphones with me and enjoyed the music while I walked around. I also loved a job a had one year where I had to do the decorating for the special events on campus and got to go help them fix tables at the president's mansion a few times before games. Great memories!

What do I miss? For good or ill, the first thing that popped into my head was sitting under a tree on the quad, working feverishly on my next art project for nasty old Prof. Sella. Beyond that, I miss everything...except trying to come up with the money to pay tuition and other bills. On the plus side of that one, I did have such an amazing plethora of jobs that to this day my grown sons marvel at just how many jobs I have had, a chunk of them before I left UA. Roll Tide!
