My husband and I are in the process of adopting our youngest granddaughter, Karoline. She is such a joy and we are blessed to be her parents. We also have and niece and nephew that were adopted from China-Hannah and Noah. We are hoping Noah and Hannah will teach Karoline sign language as Noah is hearing impaired. It seems easier for her to learn from another child. Karoline is almost a year old and we can't wait to celebrate with all of our family and friends.

We just celebrate our sixth and third 'Gotcha Day' adopting our two daughters. Most of the other girls were adopted at the same time as our first daughter, Myellie, third from the left. Karlie is our second daughter. She is the little one on the left. Can you guess the other two girls that were adopted at different times? Clue: Who is bigger, and also who is dressed the same? To obvious, right?

Doug, thank you for the encouragement. We are blessed to have our two girls. I know in the future our girls will have tough questions for us to answer. Between now and then we plan to love them, pray a lot, and teach them about God's love. You give me hope for the future.

I am adopted and over the last 15 years I have found my 3 brothers, 1 lives in Huntsville and 2 live in Charleston,SC. My Brother in Huntsville is now one of my best friends. I also adopted my daughter who was 6 when I married her Mother, at the age of 12 is when I adopted her she in now 23 and it has been wonderful and very rewarding I consider my life very blessed. I know God gave me to my Parents for a reason, and you Parents that adopt children God put you in their lives for a purpose and you will be blessed.

Steven Curtis Chapman’s youngest daughter tragically killed

Please keep the Chapman family in your prayers. He is a famous christian artist. One of their older kids accidentally ran over their five year old daughter in their driveway and she died a few hours later at the hospital. May the Lord strengthen them, and may their adoption ministry grow even stronger as a results of this tragedy.

This hits very close to home for us because their daughter along with two other daughters they have were all adopted from China like our two daughters.

Phillip and I adopted a daughter, Crista (class of 1995.) She was 14 at the time. While adopting an older child comes with a different set of knots to unravel, the rewards are just as great. When Crista's two children asked how she was my daughter since she "didn't grow in my tummy", I told them, "she grew in my heart."

Hi all. We adopted two girls from China. Myellie (6) in Nov 2003, and Karlie (3) in Sep 2005. We are blessed. God bless all of you.

I adopted a son from russia in 2004.
