Ken Lucas passed away. (Class of 76)
I just found out today that Ken passed away yesterday....The info was on our church prayerline (his parents are members of our church). It stated that arrangements would follow....
Just though some of his ole' friends would like to know. He has been very ill for quite a long while.

LUCAS, KENNETH RAY, age 51, passed away July 5, 2009. He was a graduate of Hueytown High School in 1976 and a graduate of Oglethorpe College. He was the owner of Granite Transformation and Gold Gym in Albuquerque, NM. He is survived by wife, DelReanne Johnson Lucas; and two daughters, Presley (age 7) and Chandler (age 5); parents, Ed and Sis Lucas of Hueytown; and one brother, Jimmy (Vicki) Lucas of Hueytown. Funeral services will be held July 9th in Albuquerque. Daniels Family Funeral Service in San Victoria Chapel directing.

My daddy called and read the obit to me. I was very sad to hear it. Ken and I started in kindergarten at Mrs. Mary's and went all the way through school together.

Cathy, From what I understand he had brain cancer.
